SURFACE & FORM GRINDING

In KANZEN‘s grinding department, we have 6 units (Mitsui [Capacity - 150mm x 340mm and Okamoto] [Capacity - 150mm x 450mm]) Japan made surface grinding machines and 1 unit Jagura micro ID/OD grinding machine. (Picture at bottom.)

To achieve close tolerances of 0.002mm, different grades of aluminum oxide grinding wheels used are carefully selected for process on different grades of hardened tool steels.Resin bonded diamond wheels & CBN wheels are used for grinding various grades of carbide.

Grinding fixtures are either purchased off the shelf depending on availability or fabricated in-house by our dedicated team of precision toolmakers with many years of know-how in precision grinding.
